U-Pick: FAQ

When does U-Pick start?

U-pick typically starts early in the season. We will update our main page and Facebook when we know our start date. Please check those sources for our current hours.

You do not need to book a time, just show up and we can get you started.

Rain and other inclement weather means we cannot pick for the day.

What should I bring?

It can get quite sunny and warm in the field during the season so be sure to bring a hat and wear sunscreen.

We will provide you with buckets to carry your berries. We will also provide a flat or basket to take them home with.

The most important thing you should bring is your friends and family to share in the fun.

Is there anything else I should know?

Blueberries do have a tendency to attract wasps, so please be aware of this if you have allergies. We will require you to have an epi-pen with you, if you do have severe allergies.

Our field is grown over a peat bog so the ground can be quite uneven in places. Please be mindful of your step.
